Fuel System

For the moment (just to get it running), I'm running the standard fuel pump with a boost reference plumbed into the rear of it. It has worked well up to 6 PSI so far. I'll post some photos when I get the digital camera back. The fuel pump is currently on my other car since it developed the same problem as the original one!!!(a leaky diaphragm)

In the future I'll be running a Holley Blue fuel pump modified to output 20 pounds of fuel pressure. I'll detail the modifications here once I finish them. I'll probably run 1/2 inch copper coated steel pipe as a fuel line, which can be bloody expensive at that size.

Standard Holley Blue fuel pressure regulator.

Regulator converted to a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, a must for any blow through system. A boost line is plumbed into the back side of the diaphragm so that when the boost pressure in the fuel bowl rises, the fuel pressure rises accordingly. This stops the boost pushing the fuel back into the tank. I've found a batter way to modify the regulator which can be found HERE. With the return style regulator I can run higher initial pressure from the pump.
